Location: We are on-location photographers. We love for you to have possible locations in mind, but we can offer some suggestions if needed! If there is a booking fee for a location, it your responsibility to make the necessary payment. We have plenty of contacts with venues, and we would be happy to make any arrangements for you! We also try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to the weather. We will keep an eye on the weather and work with you to find an alternate date when necessary.

What to wear: We prefer coordinating over matching every time! We want each individual to be unique and let his or her personality shine! That is hard to do when everyone is wearing the same thing! Choose a color scheme or tone for the family to coordinate with. We plan a 2-3 hours for your session, so bring a few outfit options with accessories and we would love to help you!

During your session: We like to have fun and we want your family to have fun too! We work hard to make you and your kids feel comfortable and give us natural smiles! We want family pictures to be something that everyone looks forward to and not dread each year!

After your session: We will invite you to our home for a relaxing evening of coffee and dessert while you sit back and enjoy a slide show of your images! We will help you through the selection and ordering of your images to make the process super easy! We will schedule your ordering session at the end of your shoot and try to schedule it within one week. We don't want you to wait a long time to see your images!

We LOVE to hear any unique ideas you may have for your session! We are always trying to come up with new ideas, so your ideas are very welcomed!

We will be sure to fit you into our schedule by giving us a tentative delivery date. Newborn sessions are the BEST when scheduled within the first 2 weeks of delivery, but we can work with all ages.

Location: We are on-location photographers, so we will be photographing your newborn in your home or the home of a friend or relative. We prefer to use natural lighting for newborns, so we may need to move furniture in your home to obtain optimum lighting. If your home does not allow for a lot of natural sunlight, we do have the option of studio lighting. We may also take your little one to an outside garden to take a few shots, depending on the weather. It is very important to have an environment free of loud noises, especially other children.

Before your session: We ask that you feed your little one right before the session. We would also ask that baby is only in their diaper when you begin feeding, that way we do not need to worry about waking up the baby to get him/ her undressed.

During your session: You are not allowed to apologize for your baby not sleeping right away or your baby peeing (or pooping) on things. All babies sleep eventually and we are very patient! Absolutely everything we use for your newborn session is washable, so it is not a big deal when things get dirty! We want you to relax and enjoy the experience!

We LOVE to photograph babies in unique bowls, baskets, and any other fun things we can come up with! If you have some unique ideas you would like to share, we are always up to try new things!
